KASEY KAHNE QUOTES
“We’ve made a lot of progress with our superspeedway program since last year. In practice and the Budweiser Shootout we proved we have good engines and a good race car. The Evernham engines have really improved this year. The guys at the shop have really stepped it up. The No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger has been good in the draft. We had a good car in the Shootout and I think our Daytona 500 Dodge Charger will be even better.”
“Our team has done a good job preparing for the race. We have a couple of practice sessions on Wednesday and then the Daytona Duel on Thursday. We intend to take full advantage of those opportunities to find any final adjustments we need for Sunday’s race. It’s going to be a lot of fun, knowing we have a race car capable of running up front.”
