Todd Kluever on California:
"I'm really looking forward to racing at California Speedway this weekend. That track has been good to me so far. I finished fourth there in the truck race last year which was the first time I'd ever been there. I also had a decent run in the Busch car this spring with a 12th-place finish.
"We've not had the best of luck in the Cup car so far, but hopefully that will change at California. Our first race at Chicago I got a few laps down after getting penalized for hitting the commitment cone on pit road during a green-flag stop. At Michigan I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got wrecked going three wide between Bobby Labonte and David Stremme after only 10 laps. This weekend I'd like to just have a good, solid run with no drama, or worries. I would like to be able to show how well this 3M team and I are capable of running."
Frank Stoddard on racing at California Speedway:
“I think we should have a decent run this weekend at California. We’ve got a good car and Todd has just not had great luck in his first two Cup races. We had some problems with the brakes at Chicago that probably contributed to his trouble on pit road. He overcame a lot at Michigan by qualifying a car he had never practiced. I just wish we wouldn’t have gotten knocked out 10 laps into it. He has had some really good runs at California so I expect a solid finish this weekend.”
