Scott Wimmer Quotes:
“It’s exciting for me going back to Chicago. It’s the track we race at that is closest to Wisconsin where I grew up racing so we will have a great group of fans, friends and family there for the race.
It’s a really nice race track and it seems to be getting better with age. It’s starting to get two grooves and getting a little rough so we are seeing two and three wide racing now which we didn’t see when it first opened.
Last year I led some laps there [Chicagoland] before I had a flat tire and ended up finishing 17th so it wasn’t a bad day overall. It’s been a pretty good race track for me. Hopefully we can go there this weekend and have a good qualifying run and run competitive in the race all day long. “
