NASCAR Jackson Hewitt Preseason Thunder Dates Finalized
Dates for the 2007 edition of NASCAR Jackson Hewitt Preseason Thunder Fan Fests at historic Daytona International Speedway have been finalized.
NASCAR Jackson Hewitt Preseason Thunder Fan Fest dates, which will coincide with January's NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Busch Series testing sessions at the "World Center of Racing," will be held on the following days:
Jan. 9: NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Fan Fest
Jan. 13: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Fan Fest
Jan. 16: NASCAR Nextel Cup Fan Fest
Jan. 20 and 21: NASCAR Busch Series Fan Fest
The Fan Fest events start at 5 p.m. but fans will be able to enter the NEXTEL FANZONE beginning at 9 a.m. to watch all of the exciting testing action on those days. Admissions for the NEXTEL Cup Fan Fest dates are $15 while Busch and Craftsman Truck Series admissions are $10.
Fans will be able to get a sneak peek on NASCAR teams as they prepare for Speedweeks 2007 with inquisitive fan forums with many of their favorite drivers as well as enjoying all the state-of-the-art amenities in the popular NEXTEL FANZONE.
Also included in NASCAR Preseason Thunder Fan Fests will be bands, show cars, pit stop demonstrations, displays and a silent auction.
"The World Center of Racing and the NEXTEL FANZONE are perfect venues for NASCAR Jackson Hewitt Preseason Thunder," Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig said. "NASCAR Preseason Thunder Fan Fests give our anxious race fans a sneak peek on the new season and are a must-see event for any NASCAR fan."
Fans can watch all of the January testing sessions free from the Oldfield Grandstands located just outside of DAYTONA USA:
Jan. 4-6 Grand American Rolex 24 At Daytona testing (all cars)
Jan. 8-10: NASCAR Nextel Cup, first session
Jan. 12-14: NASCAR Craftsman Truck (all trucks)
Jan. 15-17: NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, second session
Jan. 19-23: NASCAR Busch Series (two different sessions)
