The car will be unveiled at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2 on the West Concourse of the American Airlines Center prior to the Dallas Stars hockey game.

DAVE BLANEY QUOTES:
You like Texas and tracks like it but you struggled there in the spring.
“Texas is a good race track – I really like it a lot, but if you’re not real good at Charlotte and the other mile-and-a-halves, you’re not going to be good at Texas, either. We qualified well in the spring but I spun the thing out real early in the race. We fought a little bit loose all day if I remember right. We’ll just see what we’ve got when we get there this time. I love racing on those types of tracks, so hopefully we’ll have something competitive.”
In the past, people have commented that Texas always felt a little faster than Charlotte. Given the speeds you were running at Charlotte three weeks ago, do you think it’s about equal now?
“I think it’s about the same speed-wise. Feel-wise, Charlotte might even feel a little faster now because the corners are just a little tighter. But, if we ran the Texas race at night, it might be that much faster too. They’re both plenty fast.”
As the surface at Texas gets a little older, do you think we’ll see better races? Do you think you’ll be able to spread out a little more and explore some different ways around the race track?
“For sure. The race track has been good enough over the last couple of years to move up the track. It always gets at least two-wide. The groove gets wide enough where if a guy is struggling and moves up the track, there is room to pass him on the bottom. It doesn’t get so narrow that you run out of room. You can run two-wide now pretty easily at Texas and that’s all you really need.”
