Carl Edwards on racing at Texas:
"I really like Texas a lot. It looks like the other 1.5-mile tracks but I think it drives different. I've had great luck there the last couple years in the Superchips truck and we're certainly hoping that continues this weekend in the Scotts Ford. Roush Racing has always been strong there so I'm pretty confident heading into this weekend.
"Going to a 1.5-mile track is a nice change of pace from the short-tracks we've been racing at. We have not had good runs the last couple weeks but I'm not going to let that get me down. When we sat down at the beginning of the year we would have never forecasted leading the Busch points, being 11th in the Cup points and having my first career wins in the Busch and Cup Series within the first six races of the season. I think we are doing much better than we ever anticipated. We just need to learn from everything and keep moving forward. It's a long season and we are just getting started."
Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Texas:
"We're certainly looking to rebound from the last couple weeks. We've been the victim of circumstance in a lot of cases but that's racing. We learn from it and move on. We are taking the same car we won with in Atlanta earlier this year so we feel pretty good about our chances to run well this weekend in the Scotts Ford. Both our driver and our team are more than capable of rising to the occasion and getting us back on track, I'm not worried at all."
