NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Chevy American Revolution 400, Saturday at 7:35 pm (EDT)
Greg Biffle
Team: No. 16 National Guard Ford Taurus
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-221 (Same car the team ran at Phoenix this year.)
Greg Biffle on racing at Richmond:
“We had a really good test with the National Guard car in Richmond. We took two cars and decided to take the car we raced in Phoenix. It should be a good race for us. Richmond is one of my favorite tracks and I think you’ll hear that from most drivers. It’s a fun track to race at because it has two grooves and that allows for some good racing. It’s another night race, which is exciting for the fans and fun for us.”
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Richmond:
“We’re taking the car we raced at Phoenix because we feel it’s our best short track car right now. We tested it and another car in Richmond last week and felt that this car would be the best choice. We’ll look for a good qualifying run like last week to get that early track position and just try to stay up front. I like Richmond, we’ve had some good runs there but it seems like recently something always happened toward the end of the race that kept us from a good finish.”
