Marathon's "American Spirit" and Stuart Kirby ready for GFS Marketplace 400

Mooresville, NC (8/16/05) Stuart Kirby is excited about taking the #51 Marathon Chevy back to Michigan for the GFS Marketplace 400. "We were really fast here a couple of months ago at the Batman Begins 400, and our test results prior to that were pretty impressive. The Marathon team has really stepped it up lately, I'm proud of them. We should be good this weekend!" Kirby said.

Competitive Edge Motorsports (CEM) and Stuart Kirby are going into a stretch of every other weekend for a while. "It should be an interesting challenge for us going forward. The Marathon "American Spirit" team is making positive strides everyday and we are ready for the challenge," said team owner Joe Auer.
