Greg Biffle on racing at Infineon:
“I like road course racing. It breaks up the season a little. Last year we had a decent finish at Infineon and I think it’s reasonable to shoot for a top-10 finish this weekend. There are some drivers in this series who have a lot of road course experience and if I can just hold my own with them and get out of there with a top-10 or top-five finish, I think that would be a reasonable expectation.”
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Infineon:
“We’re taking the same car we raced there last year but we have given it the new 2005 body updates. We took it to both Road Atlanta and Virginia International Raceway to shake it down just to make sure everything is working correctly. We just want to make sure the brake system, the cooling system, the shifting, etc. are all working well so that when we get there we can focus on handling. Obviously you can’t set up a car for a road course during a test unless you’re at that particular track, so we just want to be sure we can focus on the set-up as soon as we get there.”
