Kenseth on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
“Indy is a special place, for sure. It has so much history that it’s really cool to be able to race there. We’ve had some good finishes there in the last few years. We had a terrible day at Pocono and we’re looking to rebound from that. We’re bringing our Las Vegas winner (car number 20), so hopefully it will bring us some good luck.”
Crew Chief Robbie Reiser on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
“We tested at Indy back in April and were pleased with the test. We’ve had some success there in recent years and are bringing a good car. The guys have had an off weekend to rest up and I think that we’ll be fresh and focused for the Brickyard.”
Fast Facts
Kenseth will be running car number 20 on Sunday in Indianapolis. In the 2005 season, this car has competed in Richmond and in the June race at Pocono. Car number 20 was tested at Indy in April of this year. This car also won at Las Vegas in 2003 and 2004.
