Kurt Busch on racing at Chicago:
“Chicago feels like a second home to me, and this is a great market for our team. It holds a lot of value to win here, and it’s especially a good place for us to do well with our sponsor's base being so close. It’s a great race track. Every part of the race track is round and you are continually turning. The back straightaway has a nice curve to it and allows for a good exit out of turn two and a more challenging entrance into turn three. With the 18 degree banking, it’s also a place where you can drive it into a corner deep and stand on the gas hard. And despite being similar to other tracks, this tri-oval has its own attitude, characteristics."
Crew Chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Chicago:
“We’re bringing the same car to Chicago that we ran well with at Las Vegas earlier this year, and Kurt is really comfortable with the car. Kurt had two top-tens in his first two trips to this track, and we’ve had good cars the past two years before we’ve had motor failures and accidents, so we’re looking forward to a good run here this weekend.”
