Gordon Scheduled to Appear on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" on September 5

BURBANK, Calif. (Aug. 30, 2005) - On Monday, September 5, Jeff Gordon makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (syndicated, check local listings). The four-time NASCAR Cup champion and driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet is the first NASCAR driver to appear on the popular daytime talk show.

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” has won two consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show and this year won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host, and has now earned nine Daytime Emmy Awards in its first two seasons. “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” premiered on September 8, 2003.
