GlaxoSmithKline and Bobby Labonte Fight Asthma with ACT at California Speedway

Champion Driver Bobby Labonte to Drive AsthmaControl Car to Encourage Race Fans to Take the Asthma Control Test™

Fontana, CA (Aug. 29, 2005) — GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) will display a unique message paint scheme at California Speedway during the Nextel Cup Sony HD 500 race on September 4. The sponsorship is to help raise awareness of the Asthma Control Test (ACT) and to motivate asthma patients to assess their level of control and encourage them to talk with their doctor about their asthma symptoms.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

GlaxoSmithKline will also bring an AsthmaControl mobile exhibit to the California Speedway on Sunday, September 4th to allow asthma patients to take ACT on site and to learn more about their asthma.
