Jarrett Draws Pole for Saturday's Budweiser Shootout at Daytona

(Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005) -- Dale Jarrett will start on the pole for the 27th running of the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona after drawing the top position at the Budweiser Shootout Qualifying Draw Party Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway.

Jarrett, a three-time winner of the event, has never started on the pole. He'll lead the pack of 20 drivers to the green flag Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET. Greg Biffle will start on the outside of row one, with NASCAR veteran Bill Elliott, racing in the Budweiser Shootout for a record 20th time, will start third.
