Carl Edwards on racing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway:
“I'm looking forward to racing at Charlotte. It will be another busy weekend for me since I'm flying between Texas and Charlotte for the truck and Cup races. Fortunately we have Dave Blaney helping us out again this weekend on the Cup side while I'm in Texas racing the Superchips F-150. I'll be able to practice and qualify the Canteen/Kraft Foods Ford on Thursday then hopefully if all goes perfectly I'll make it back in time for the race Saturday night. If we run into weather or something then Dave will start the race for me and we'll go from there."
Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway:
“The No. 99 team is looking forward to Charlotte. Carl will be traveling between here and Texas for the truck race so we have Dave Blaney helping us out again which is great. We are taking a new car that tested well at Kansas a couple weeks ago and I think some of that information will transfer over to Charlotte. Roush Racing has had a lot of success at Lowe's in the past so we are hoping to continue that tradition in the No. 99 Canteen/Kraft Foods Ford."
