No. 40 TEAM FACTS:

Chassis: After getting caught up in a wreck last weekend during the All-Star race in the car for this week’s race, Marlin and the Coors Light crew will bring chassis #203 to Lowe’s for the Coca-Cola 600. This car is the same car that Marlin won the fall race at Lowe’s in 2001 and teammate Jamie McMurray won in the fall race of 2002.

Academy of Country Music: Marlin will be presenting at the ACM Awards on Wednesday night in Las Vegas. The show will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m.

Marines Paint Scheme: The Coors Light Dodge will be sporting a Marines paint scheme this weekend at the Coca-Cola 600. This is the first of four races that the Coors Light Dodge will be featuring the Marines paint scheme.

Top Finishes: Marlin has posted three top-10 and two top-five finishes in 10 races this season.

Spring Racing in Charlotte: Marlin has had 23 spring starts at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. He has had two top-five and six top-10 finishes in the spring races.

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings: Marlin sits 15th in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings, just 147 points out of 10th place.
