Banquet 400 presented by ConAgra Foods - Greg Biffle Notes

Kansas Speedway, October 7-10, 2004
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Banquet 400, 1:30PM, Sunday

Greg Biffle
Team: No. 16 National Guard Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-239 (won at Michigan on 08/22/04)

Greg Biffle on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“We had a solid run last year in the Cup car and our strong suit this year has been the one and a half to two mile tracks. We’re taking the same car we won with at Michigan. It’s one of our best downforce cars and it should be perfect for this weekend’s race. Kansas is a fun racetrack but the car typically wants to be tight in the corners. Our task with both racecars this weekend will be to find a setup that’s not too loose entering and through the center but allows us to get to the throttle early in the corner and keep it down exiting, especially on the longer runs.”

Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Kansas Speedway:
"Kansas is similar to Michigan and Fontana and we've had good runs at both of those tracks this year including the win at Michigan. We're hoping that the similarities will play out in our favor. We've had several top-10s in the second half of this season and we'd like to get a few more before it's over."
