Carl Edwards on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“I'm really, really excited about this race. It's as good as it gets for me, racing a NEXTEL Cup car basically in your hometown. I won the truck race at Kansas earlier this year and I had a really good test with the Cup team there last week. I think it will be a good opportunity to run well."
Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“We're really excited about Kansas. We had a really good test there last week. We tried a bunch of different things and learned a lot so I'm feeling pretty good going into this week. This is the same car we took to Michigan and California earlier this year and had success with so we're hoping to build on that history."
