Brickyard 400 - Jeff Burton Notes

Jeff Burton
Team: No.99 Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Bob Osborne
Chassis Number: RK-265 (new racecar)

Jeff Burton on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
“It's an honor to be able to run at Indianapolis. It's a racetrack rich in heritage and rich in history there's no doubt about that. For the No. 99 team to be able to race there is a privilege. It's truly a great facility, and a lot of cool stuff has happened there. We are certainly looking to bounce back from Pocono and I think this is a place we could do that."

Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
“There is a lot of history at Indy. The team is really looking forward to going there and doing everything we can to become a part of that history as well. The car we wrecked at Pocono was slated as our primary car for Indy but now we'll have to go to plan B. I think we'll be ok though. Everyone is working really hard and each week we get better and I have no doubt that this week will be any different."
