Daytona 500 - Jeff Burton Notes

Daytona 500 * Daytona Int'l Speedway * Sunday, February 15, 2004

Jeff Burton
Team: No.99 All Star Game on TNT Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Paul Andrews
Chassis Number: RK-232

Jeff Burton on racing at Daytona:
"I'm really excited about the 2004 season. The No. 99 NBA All-Star Game on TNT Ford is the coolest car out there and we are looking forward to taking it to the front. Daytona is a fast track but it's not usually the fastest car that wins. Most often it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time and that's exactly where we want to be."

Crew Chief Paul Andrews on racing at Daytona:
"The first thing we need to do is win races. In order to win you need to be around at the end and that's our goal. We want to run in the top-five everywhere we go, or at least be a contender. If we can do that, we'll win races in 2004."
