Greg Biffle
Team: No. 16 Army National Guard Ford Taurus
Owner: Jack Roush
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-158 was built last year and has been updated with the new
2004 body style. It was chosen by the team to take Daytona because it
had the best performance in pre-season testing.
Greg Biffle on racing at Daytona:
"I've been looking forward to returning to Daytona since we won the
Pepsi 400 there last July with the No. 16 team. I'm excited about
2004 because I've got two challenges placed in front of me running the
full schedule in both the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and Busch Series.
I've got two strong teams assembled around me and I'm anxious to
get the season going. We're gunning for two championships this year
and good runs at Daytona will certainly help give us the needed momentum
to start the season."
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Daytona:
"We had a good end to the 2003 season and I think 2004 will be even
better. I am really looking forward to going back to Daytona because we
had a great test there. The car responded to small changes and
performed extremely well. I believe the new Roush/Yates motor program
will prove to be another asset as the season unfolds."
