Greg Biffle on racing at California Speedway:
"I can't wait to get to California this week. It's historically been a good track for us and I have to believe that sooner or later things are going to turn around for both teams. We've been running well in the Nextel Cup car and the Busch car, but each week something is taking us out of contention. The on track performance is there, we're just experiencing all kinds of mechanical problems and a lot of times there is nothing you can do about that.
"I know that I say this each week, but both teams are doing exactly what they need to be doing. They're bringing great cars to the track and we're running competitively. That's all we can do and if we continue to do that things will begin to fall into place."
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at California Speedway:
"California is a track where fuel mileage always seems to come into play. It'll be another track with a new tire for us. We'll need to set up the car for the long runs and handling will be important. We're taking a new car that we believe will have the best aero package for California. We'll just have to put ourselves in a position where fuel mileage will work our way at the end of the race."
