ROBBY GORDON QUOTES
On Bristol:
“I like Bristol. For me, Darlington and Bristol are a lot alike in the way the No. 31 Team Cingular Chevrolet runs well at both places, but the final results never show it. Well, they finally did show it this past weekend. Hopefully, we can go to Bristol with some momentum from Darlington and have some good luck and be able to position ourselves to finish inside the top 10 with all three RCR teams.”
“From what everyone has been saying the tires are going to be interesting at Bristol. We didn’t test there, but Ron Hornaday did with the No. 2 Busch car. We share information throughout the house at RCR, so we are going to be ok. Swapping information between Busch and Cup played a crucial role for us in Darlington, so we’ll see if it helps again this weekend.”
On Darlington:
“Darlington simply felt good for everyone on the Cingular Wireless team and at RCR as a whole. Darlington was a perfect example of why it is so beneficial to run a Busch and Cup car. I guess it is like they say two heads are better than one. It really paid off for everyone last Sunday.”
