"I like road course racing, it's just hard to be really good at it when you
only get to race on them twice a year. But they are a lot of fun. We'll
see if we can get a good starting spot and keep it all together for the
entire race."
- Kenny Wallace, driver of the No. 23 Stacker 2 Dodge
WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL
SIRIUS AT THE GLEN
LOPEZ IS LOOKING FORWARD TO WATKINS GLEN.
"I think we're going to have a good weekend. Kenny ran really good at Sears
Point considering he hadn't been there in a few years. He didn't get a good
qualifying lap and that put him back in the pack for the start of the race,
but he got himself back into position to have a god finish and in the final
laps of the race he just got into the last turn too hot and took out some
guys and took himself out too. But, if that hadn't happened, he was going
onto a top-10 finish. I think we can go to Watkins Glen with what we all
learned at Sears Point and have a good day."
WHAT STACKER 2 CAR WILL THE TEAM RUN THIS WEEKEND.
The #23 Stacker 2 car Kenny Wallace will run this weekend is car #54. It's
the same car that they raced with at Infineon Raceway in June. Wallace had
a decent run going until he got into the turn too hot and lost several
positions in the closing laps.
WHAT KENNY WALLACE HAS GOING ON THIS WEEKEND.
Wallace will visit the Stacker 2 souvenir trailer at some point this weekend
to sign autographs. Please check with the trailer for the times of his
visit.
