WALLACE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FX REALITY SHOW.
Kenny Wallace and two other Winston Cup drivers, Kevin Harvick and Jamie McMurray, have signed up with NASCAR and FX to participate in a behind the scenes look at a driver's life. The crew of four has been following Wallace since his return from the race in California last weekend. They began shooting footage of Wallace at his home, which is being remodeled, on Tuesday followed by a trip to the shop. They will continue to film Wallace and the Stacker 2 team throughout this weekend to finish gathering footage for the pilot.

"This is an unbelievable opportunity," said Wallace. "NASCAR and FX teamed up to put this show together and they are doing everything first class. Everyone involved with the production have been very pleasant and accommodating. I think it is a really neat deal for the fans to get to see how our teams travel, how we travel and that we don't all live really glamorous lives. My family is definitely a typical family that deals with real-life issues that most other households are dealing with that have teenage kids."

WHAT TO DO ON YOUR OFF WEEKEND.RACE OF COURSE.
Wallace will return to his hometown track, Gateway International Raceway, to compete in the NASCAR Busch Series event on May 10, 2003. Wallace, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, will sport the colors of hometown baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, on his car.

"Even though I reside in North Carolina now, St. Louis is where my heart is," said Wallace. "The St. Louis Cardinals are an institution and I couldn't be more proud to represent them and race in front of all those great Missouri fans. Growing up as a kid, I was a die-hard Cardinals fan, whether they won or lost. I can remember working on racecars as a teenager and always listening to the Cardinals game when it was on. I'm just glad that Major League Baseball wanted to be a part of this and in turn, I can help promote the great tradition of St. Louis baseball."
