M&M’S TEAM READY TO RALLY AT MICHIGAN

ELLIOTT SADLER’S VIEW FROM THE DRIVER’S SEAT:

“We are testing at Kentucky this week and trying to get a grip on the season. I really think we can get into the top-10 this year – and we are only 350 out. Its going to depend on some guys having as bad of luck as we’ve had and for us to have some good finishes at these tracks coming up. The last race at Michigan we qualified real well but never were in contention. We just kind of rode around and stayed out of trouble. This M&M’S team has had some good performances this year on tracks similar to Michigan so I am really hoping to challenge for a win this weekend.”

CREW CHIEF RAYMOND FOX’S VIEW FROM THE PIT BOX:

“We are taking the same car we had at Indianapolis for Michigan this week. We are going to test first at Kentucky and make sure all is well with the car. Our biggest challenge so far this year has been getting the car to where Elliott likes to drive it. That’s pretty normal for any team to be in that position- it seems like the car is always, always too tight. We are going to use this Kentucky test to work on a bunch of things but mainly Michigan setup.”

SPOTTER BRETT GRIFFIN’S VIEW FROM ABOVE THE TRACK:

“Michigan's race seems to get better every time we go back. If the race is exciting to the fans then it is exciting for the spotters. The drivers are driving their guts out no matter how much traffic they are in. But, for the spotters if they are three wide and all running different grooves throughout the race we're on our toes. MIS has probably the most improved race in my opinion over the last five years.”
