TARGET TEAM FACTS:

-Chassis: Team Target will race chassis #306 at Michigan in the Winston Cup race. This is the same car that finished 23rd in Atlanta and 27th in Texas earlier this season.

-ARCA: Casey Mears will run in this weekend's ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway. He will pilot the No. 77 Target Dodge in a partnership with Braun Racing. Last weekend's ARCA race at Pocono Raceway was rained out. Mears won the pole and set a track record for qualifying.

-Raybestos Rookie: In the first race of 2003, Mears became the first rookie to lead a lap and the only rookie to lead a lap in the Daytona 500. Mears is currently third in Raybestos rookie of the year standings.

CASEY MEARS QUOTES:

"I think we'll have a good run at Michigan this weekend. I qualified well there last year in the Busch car but we had transmission problems and didn't finish the race. It's a good track and we're taking a good car there. The ARCA race should be good; if we get to run it. I was bummed out we got rained out last weekend. It helps so much to get that extra track time. This ARCA car we have is really good. Hopefully we'll get another pole and a win for Target this weekend."
