Jeff Burton on racing at Richmond:
"Richmond is awesome! It's one of the best tracks in the country.
We've had success there before and I'm looking to have more success
there this weekend. It's been a year since we hired Paul (Andrews)
and slowly but surely we've been making improvements and that's what
I like to see. We haven't progressed as quickly as I would have liked
but we are coming along nonetheless.
"Richmond is just a great place for fans to watch a race because it
has a little bit of everything. Of course racing at night is also a
special thing that I think the fans really enjoy. It's just a cool
place and I'm excited to race there this weekend."
Crew Chief Paul Andrews on racing at Richmond:
"We didn't fair well at Richmond last fall during my first race
with the team. At that point, we just needed to race for points. It
was definitely a good feeling watching everyone pull together and get
things done (referencing an early wreck that cost the team more than 300
laps while the team repaired the damage). The CITGO team got a lot of
things done in a short amount of time and we were able to go back out
and still have a competitive car.
"This year's spring race was much better for us. We finished ninth
and had an opportunity to finish higher but rain cut the night short for
everyone. This team has improved tremendously since the beginning of
the year and I'm looking for good things this weekend."
