TARGET TEAM FACTS:
-June Dover Race: In his first Winston Cup race at Dover, rookie Casey Mears qualified 22nd for the MBNA 400 at Dover International Speedway, spun out in Turn 4 on the first lap of the race and received heavy damage to his No. 41 Target Dodge. Team Target worked behind the wall for approximately 120 laps before Mears got back out on the track. With two laps to go in the race, Mears was involved in another accident in Turn 1 that put him out of the race for good.
-Car: Team Target is taking chassis # 306 to Dover. This is the same car that won three ARCA races this season and finished 23rd in Atlanta and 27th in Texas Cup races.
-Busch Series: Casey Mears will compete in the Dover Busch Series race this weekend. He will pilot the No. 19 Target Dodge for Braun Racing.
-Raybestos Rookie Teammates: Casey Mears and Jamie McMurray are the first teammate rookies to compete for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors. Mears currently sits in third place in rookie points while McMurray leads the points.
-Leader: Mears became the first 2003 rookie to lead a lap and the only rookie to lead a lap in the Daytona 500.
