"Atlanta hasn't been my best track, that's for sure. But, I am going there
with the attitude that the Stacker 2 team is going to turn that around. We
are going there and hoping it doesn't rain and we can have a good run and a
good finish."

"This has definitely been a track that I haven't had success at. I have
struggled here throughout my career, but I am hoping to get things moving in
the right direction and getting on the right track for better finishes. For
whatever reason, it just hasn't been my track. Even when it was configured
the old way, I couldn't get around it and I am still trying to figure that
out. But, Ward (Burton) has run well here and I hope he can help me and our
team run better.
"This team has an incredible desire to win races and so do I. We are going
to get the Stacker 2 team back to the front and put the numbers on the
board. That is our goal. We're hoping that weather doesn't play a part in
this weekend's qualifying, practice or race. The last three weeks the rain
has affected some part of our racing. We need to get on the track Friday
and have some time to work on our qualifying setup and get a good starting
spot. Then we can go to work on Saturday and get the race setup underneath
us. We want to come out of Atlanta with a good starting spot and a better
finishing spot."

"I'm looking ahead to Atlanta with some optimism. We struggled last week at
the beginning of the race, but we worked at getting the car to drive better
for Kenny and I think we should have a better grip on things this week. We
are taking our Rockingham car that we ran last fall with it. It was a
pretty racy car and should be able to get the job done. Now it's up to our
team to get the car better for Kenny and have good pit stops on Sunday.
Hopefully we can have a better week this week."
