Budweiser Shootout - Daytona International Speedway
Stewart Wins Budweiser Shootout
Tony Stewart won his second straight Budweiser Shootout, holding off a charge from the Chevrolet's of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon. Stewart's Pontiac led the most laps on the day, leading for 31 of the event's 70 laps. Earnhardt Jr. edged Gordon at the finish line to claim second, while the defending Winston Cup champion finished third. Ken Schrader crossed the stripe in fourth and Sterling Marlin rounded out the top five.

Lucky Busch Takes Budweiser Shootout Pole
Kurt Busch can add a second pole to his resume.
Busch will lead the field of some of NASCAR's biggest and brightest during the 2002 season's first Winston Cup Series race - the Budweiser Shootout.
The lineup, chosen Thursday by random draw, is a non-points, 70-lap race that pits last season's pole winners and active and past winners of the Budweiser Shootout and Busch Clash in head-to-head action at Daytona International Speedway.
