Robby Gordon Wins First Cup Race in Season Finale
Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon dominated the New Hampshire 300 but it was Robby Gordon who took the checkered flag. Robby Gordon won his first career Winston Cup race in his 62nd start. Robby Gordon won by 2.008 seconds over Sterling Marlin to become the fifth first-time winner and the 19th different winner this season. Marlin crossed the finish line in second place, while 2000 champion Bobby Labonte finished third. Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart rounded out the top five finishing order.
