UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 - Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Gordon Wins a Million at Vegas
Jeff Gordon should change his name to Mr. No Bull Five. In eight attempts at the million dollar bonus from Winston, Gordon now has won the money four times! Gordon easily outdistanced second place Dale Jarrett by 1.744 seconds to take the checkered flag in the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Las Vegas. Gordon led for 33 of 267 laps and scored his 53rd career Winston Cup win. Gordon's win gives Chevrolet a clean sweep of the first three races of the season. Sterling Marlin, the new point leader, came home in third, followed by Johnny Benson and Todd Bodine.
