Spencer's Kmart Ford Gets "Wrapped" for Atlanta Race
Universal's "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!(tm)" Home Video and
DVD Release November 20
The furry, green character from the cave atop Who-ville has ditched his
namesake sleigh and trusty dog "Max" to join Jimmy Spencer for a trip to
Atlanta. Spencer's No. 26 Kmart Ford will carry a special GRINCH (tm) paint
scheme, featuring "THE GRINCH (tm)" character on the sides and hood of the
car. The special paint scheme marks the home video release of Universal
Studios' "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (tm)" starring Jim
Carrey, which will be available at Kmart's more than 2,100 stores and on
BlueLight.com beginning November 20.
Spencer thinks the chance to run with "THE GRINCH (tm)" is a great
opportunity.
Capitalizing on the record-breaking box office opening in 2000 and a total
box office gross of $265 million, "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole
Christmas! (tm)" is poised to set new records with its Video and DVD release
on November 20th.
"Despite his devious behavior at times, we are excited about having "THE
GRINCH (tm)" accompany the Kmart race team to Atlanta," said Tom Lemke, Vice
President of Marketing and Sales.
"Special promotions like "THE GRINCH (tm)" reflect Kmart's strategy of
offering our shoppers everyday fun, as well as value, reinforcing our
position as the authority for mom, her home and her family."
