Wallace Claims 50th Win
Plain and simple, Rusty Wallace loves Bristol. Wallace claimed his 50th career Winston Cup win at the same track that he won his first, Bristol Motor Speedway. Wallace outran second place Johnny Benson to the finish line by 2.622 seconds to win for the eighth time at the Bristol track.
Park Grabs First Pole
Steve Park captured his first-ever Winston Cup pole position, setting a Bristol track record in the proccess. Park's lap of 15.184 seconds, at 126.370 mph, broke the old track record held by Rusty Wallace. Kenny Wallace will join Park on the first row, starting second, while Jeff Gordon and Mike Skinner make out row two.
