Special Timber Wolf Birthday Paint Design to Debut at IRP

The No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo, piloted by Kevin Grubb in the NASCAR Busch Series, will carry a special paint scheme in four races in the 1999 season starting with the Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park on August 6. The unique design is being used to celebrate the fifth birthday of Timber Wolf moist snuff.

"We have been involved in NASCAR racing and Brewco Motorsports since 1996 and have achieved tremendous growth," said Elliot Eliades, marketing director for Timber Wolf. "Much of our success can be directly related to NASCAR racing and its fans. We chose the race team to celebrate Timber Wolf's birthday because NASCAR racing is the focal point of our promotional efforts."

In August 1994, Timber Wolf was launched in three flavors, long cut wintergreen and fine cut natural. It added cool wintergreen and fine cut wintergreen in 1996 and long cut straight last year.

The Timber Wolf birthday car was designed by Concord, North Carolina based motorsports artist Sam Bass, who also designed the blue and green No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet.

In addition to the Kroger 200, the Timber Wolf birthday car will also compete in the Pepsi 200 at Michigan Speedway on August 21, Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway on August 27 and Autolite Platinum 250 at Richmond International Raceway on September 10.
