Autolite Platinum 250 David Green Notes David Green's Richmond International Raceway NASCAR Busch Series Results
MI Home Products and XACT Join AFG Racing Team in Richmond: MI Home Products, Inc. and XACT Replacement Windows and Doors join the AFG Industries/Larry Hedrick Motorsports team as associate sponsors on the No. 41 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Autolite Platinum 250 NASCAR Busch Series race at Richmond International Raceway. Central Pennsylvania-based MI Home Products, a leading national manufacturer of windows and doors for new construction, remodeling, replacement, rehab and manufactured housing, markets vinyl and aluminum windows and doors under the MI, Capitol, BetterBilt, PrimeCel and XACT brands. MI Home Products employees more than 3000 and operates manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania, California, Washington, Texas, Indiana, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Arizona and Tennessee. Racing for a Hometown Crowd: On Friday, David Green and the AFG team will be racing for a hometown crown at Richmond International Raceway in the Autolite Platinum 250 NASCAR Busch Series race. AFGD, a subsidiary of AFG Industries with 52 locations throughout the United States and Canada, have a plant based in Richmond, Virginia. Green and the AFG crew, led by crew chief Tim Hamer, will have more than 80 AFGD employees cheering them on. Change That to Lucky Number 13: David Green, driver of the No. 41 AFG Industries/Larry Hedrick Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo, is hoping number 13 is his lucky number. Friday's Autolite Platinum 250 NASCAR Busch Series race at Richmond International Raceway marks the Owensboro, Kentucky native's 13th Busch Series start at the 0.75 mile track. Green has scored one pole, six top 10 starts, led 70 laps and earned six top ten finishes on the asphalt oval. "I like racing at Richmond," said the 1994 Busch Series Champion. "The night racing makes it a lot of fun, plus I have done well there. That always helps." Green will be piloting his favorite race car this weekend, the same car he captured the pole with at Lowe's Motor Speedway in May. "We have my favorite car this weekend," said Green. "Hopefully it'll be just like it was in Charlotte." Also, Friday's race in Richmond marks the 13th Busch Series event for the AFG Industries/Larry Hedrick Motorsports team.
