"I like racing at Richmond," said the 1994 Busch Series Champion. "The night racing makes it a lot of fun, plus I have done well there. That always helps."

Green will be piloting his favorite race car this weekend, the same car he captured the pole with at Lowe's Motor Speedway in May.

"We have my favorite car this weekend," said Green. "Hopefully it'll be just like it was in Charlotte."

Also, Friday's race in Richmond marks the 13th Busch Series event for the AFG Industries/Larry Hedrick Motorsports team. The Statesville, NC based team has been a fixture in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series since 1990.
