Atwood Wins First BGN Race
Casey Atwood claimed his first career Busch Grand National win, taking the checkered flag for the DieHard 250 at the Milwaukee Mile.
Atwood bumped leader Jeff Green on the last lap and made the pass to take
the win by .297 seconds over Green. Atwood is the first to win a race at Milwaukee from the pole position. There have now been eight different winners in
the eight races ran at the Milwaukee track.
Atwood Takes Milwaukee Pole
18 year old Casey Atwood will start from the pole position for the DieHard 250 at the Milwaukee Mile. Atwood set the track record with his lap of 29.649 seconds, at 121.421 mph. Elton Sawyer will start from the outside pole, while Todd Bodine and Mike Bliss make out row two.
