Nemechek Wins at Homestead
Joe Nemechek claimed the victory in the final Busch Grand National race of the 1999 season, beating BGN champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the checkered flag by .879 seconds. The win is Nemechek's eighth career Busch win and his second at Homestead, the track where his brother lost his life.

    Stricklin Captures Miami Pole
    Hut Stricklin captured the pole position for the final Busch Grand National event of the season, the HotWheels.com 300 on Saturday. Stricklin turned a qualifying lap of 36.131 seconds, at 149.456 mph. Joining Strickin on the front row is Jeff Green, while Chad Chaffin and Ward Burton will start from row two.
