Food City 250 Buckshot Jones Notes
"I've always liked Bristol Motor Speedway and have done well there. It's a
tough track to race on unless you have good track position and you really
need to stay in the top-10 to have a shot at winning. Patience is also the
key to doing well at Bristol. I'm looking forward to racing under the lights
and hope for another good finish." The Buckshot Racing team worked feverishly and Jones returned to the track to complete 100 more laps and finish 39th. Along with an outside pole and two top-10 finishes, Jones has led a total of 138 laps in Busch Series competition at Bristol Motor Speedway. He also earned the Gatorade Front Runner award in the 1998 Spring event. Buckshot Jones looks to make his 100th career Busch Series start next weekend in the Dura-Lube 200 at Darlington Raceway.
