Continued success- the No.6 Coats/Discount Tire Ford Fusion has earned three top-10 finishes in the first five races of 2008 and is currently fourth in NNS standings.
Last fall Ragan finished seventh at Nashville, one spot ahead of then teammate Todd Kluever.
Ragan was the 2007 Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year in the Nationwide Series.

Ragan on racing in the Nationwide Series at Nashville Superspeedway:
“Our Discount Tire team has been very consistent this year. We have made great strides in our program this season. Our equipment is top notch and our race setups have been very accurate. This weekend will be no different. Nashville is a fast concrete track that is very challenging. Since the Cup Series is off this weekend we can focus a little better on the task at hand. There will be a lot of young drivers out to prove their worth this weekend. We need to stay up front and practice patience, and everything else will fall into place.”

“We are ready for the fast track at Nashville. There will be a lot of young drivers in the race, so our main focus is to stay up front and out of trouble. David ran well here last time around and I am confident he can do it again. We got a top 10 and we left a lot on the table. The Discount Tire team has been working hard to operate as one cohesive unit. Our race day crew has been unbelievably consistent this year. I feel like that will make a big difference this weekend. Traditionally, Roush Fenway cars have done well at Nashville. I hope to continue that trend and bring home a great finish.”
