Noting the Sam’s Town 300

Three of the 10 Nationwide races at LVMS have been won from the pole.

Jeff Burton is the only driver to sweep both the Sam’s Town 300 and UAW-Dodge 400 in the same weekend. He accomplished the feat in 2000.

Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth are the only drivers with more than one pole for a Nationwide race at LVMS. They each have two.

No non-Sprint Cup Series regular has won a Nationwide race at LVMS since the two series began racing on the same weekend in 1998.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. (1998) and Greg Biffle (2001) are the only non-Sprint Cup drivers to post a runner-up finish in the Sam’s Town 300 since the series began sharing the same weekend in 1998.

There are tentatively 17 drivers scheduled to do double duty by racing in both Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 and Sunday’s UAW-Dodge 400.
