Ragan on racing in the Nationwide Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
“It was a wild race last year with the new pavement. We just focused on finishing the race. I was pleased with our Ford Fusion, but it was not a top-10 car. This year we are bringing a very fast racecar to Las Vegas. We had a solid test session here last month and I am very confident the Discount Tire team will be in the front of the pack by the end of the race. We want to finish every race at least in the top 10. If we do that, a championship is a strong possibility. This weekend will be a challenge for us, but we are going to take it one race at a time.”

Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
“The Discount Tire team has improved a great deal since last season. We made some changes in our pit crew and it made a world of a difference in Daytona. I am looking forward to Las Vegas this time around. We called a cautious race last year due to the track conditions and the nature of the race. We tested well here last month and I think we have a great game plan going into this weekend. David knows the key to Las Vegas is patience. He has good equipment and he knows how to get over the bumps. I expect us to come away with a good finish this weekend.”
