McClure, who has only competed at the 1.366 mile egg-shaped oval once will step foot on the newly paved racing surface this Mother’s Day weekend.
The Diamond Hill Plywood 200 will be McClure’s 52nd NASCAR Nationwide Series event.
In his only start at Darlington Raceway, McClure started 41st and finished 40th after a crash ended his night shortly after the half-way mark of the event.

All signs point to it being the same racetrack, just faster, and with longer tire life. It’s going to be important for us to utilize as much track time as possible in practice to get the car as comfortable as possible.
