Ragan on racing in the Nationwide Series at California Speedway:
“We improved on our finish the last time we were here, but I felt like we could have done a lot better. We brought fast cars here in 2007 but just came up a little short at crunch time. I will certainly take a top-10 run but this year we are looking to take that next step and win a race. I am confident in this America’s Tire team after our run at Daytona. Our pit crew is awesome and they can really change the outcome of any given race. I expect to run up front every week. Fontana will be no different.”

“The America’s Tire team has done a lot in preparation for this weekend. The Ford Fusion is a rocket. We captured the pole at Homestead with this car. David has a lot of experience at Fontana and I think he has his sights set on a top-five run. If we take care of business on pit road and give David an opportunity to run up front at the end of the race, we may be in for a great finish.”
