Coleman Back in Familiar Territory
Driver looking to capitalize on previous success at Bristol

After three straight races of uncharted territory, Brad Coleman and the No. 27 Cottonelle Ford Fusion are finally back on familiar ground with this weekend’s Sharpie Mini 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Capturing the outside pole and finishing with a 17th place finish in last year’s fall race at Bristol, Coleman feels good about the upcoming weekend.

“Its great to finally be back at a track where I’ve raced before,” said Coleman. “I had some success at my first race here last fall and believe this weekend will be no different. I know how the track changes with time and temperature and feel really comfortable about the variety of grooves on the newly paved surface. Bristol is an intense race track but I feel comfortable about climbing in the car and taking the green flag. I’m ready to go.”

Not only will Coleman be returning to a familiar track, he also will have Cottonelle featured on his race car for the second time this season. The No. 27 Cottonelle Ford Fusion is a bright shade of purple and features the message “Be Kind to Your Behind,” from the brand’s national advertising campaign.

After all, Coleman has already spent countless hours in the seat this season. From Daytona to his arrival at Bristol Motor Speedway, he has spent untold hours in the seat of airplanes, rent cars and motor coaches, not to mention his race car.

“Having Cottonelle as my sponsor for the next few races really has made me realize how much I do sit,” laughed Coleman. “I guess I am really hard on my backside and I need to be kinder to it!”

Coleman and the No. 27 team will be in action Saturday at 2:30 pm in the Sharpie Mini 300 on ESPN2.
