MOORESVILLE, NC -- On Tuesday (Aug. 12), NASCAR racers Mike Wallace and Chrissy Wallace, father and daughter, will ring the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at 4 p.m (Eastern).

Both drivers race for Germain Racing, of Mooresville, NC. Mike drives full-time in the No. 7 GEICO Camry, while rookie driver Chrissy made her NASCAR debut at Martinsville Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in March 2008.

Chrissy is racing several races on the Truck Series for Germain. Her next race is Sept. 6 at Gateway International Raceway, driving the No. 03 Germain Toyota Tundra, while Mike Wallace's next race in the GEICO Camry comes this weekend at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Germain Racing is working to build a full-time program for Chrissy Wallace so she can challenge for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year title in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2009.
