Huffman in No. 81 for MacDonald Motorsports
Shane Huffman made his first career start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2001 with owner Tony Hall. In 2006 Huffman found himself leading the way for JR Motorsports, where he raced in 28 races. Since his departure at JR Motorsports, Shane has kept very busy. Among his USAR Pro Hooters races Huffman has been the Car Chief for Rusty Wallace Inc's, #66 driven by Steven Wallace for the 2008 season.
Shane's desire to get behind the wheel once again has lead him to MacDonald Motorsports, where he will substitute for his long time friend in the Hooters Series, DJ Kennington.
"This is a great chance to get behind the wheel again in a car that will race. The team is really making strides to be a championship contender, and if I can help get them there, it is all worth it. Me and DJ go pretty far back, and with his hectic schedule, I am honored to help a racer with that much dedication."
"I would love to do both races but it is not logistically possible. We called on the most talented driver available, Shane Huffman. Not only is he a great driver and car chief, he is a great friend and I know he will race this car hard and to the front", stated Kennington.
