Car Owner and Veteran of all three NASCAR Series', Randy MacDonald returned to the controls of the #81 this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. "We had some problems with a change in the travel for DJ this weekend, so I got to return to action", stated MacDonald.

Randy started the weekend with a solid 36th qualifying run. "It wasnt bad run but we always run better than we qualify, so I felt really good about the race preperation."

Just a handful of laps into the race, MacDonald had quickly moved into the top 30 and raced hard with leaders, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin. "We were trying to hold our own and stay on the lead lap but track position got the best of us."

The Mahindra Tractors/N.P.P./Vector Security team worked hard on the car and picked up positions in the pits all day. As the checkered flag waved, MacDonald was relieved and smiling. "It felt good to be back in the car and compete with these guys, but I have no problem handing the wheel back to DJ next week", MacDonald joked. "

The 81 crew will now look at Daytona for a Friday night race as they vow for redemption. "We raced in the top 5-10 all day at the last restrictor plate race at Talladega. A cut tire with 20 laps cost us a top 5. We are fired up and ready to put the Mahindra Dodge back up front next weekend."
