Brad Baker in for Kennington at MacDonald Motorsports

Nashville Tennessee native Brad Baker will once again drive a Vector Security sponsored car for MacDonald Motorsports at Charlotte this weekend in the Carquest Auto Parts 300. Baker will be filling in for DJ Kennington who has been quite a suprise in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this year. Kennington coming off a career high 20th place finish at Darlington two weeks ago, is competing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series as well this year.

"Its real tough to step out for these few races in the Nationwide Series", claims Kennington. "I have made the committment to Castrol and my race team that we will race the full season in the Canadian Tire Series and try to claim the championship. We have been so close so many years and the knowledge I have learned in the Nationwide Series has made me a better racer." Kennington and Castrol's relationship dates back 14 years when the St Thomas, Ontario, Canada native made his debut in the series at the age of 16. "Theres not many drivers that can claim they have had this type of relationship, and its been an honor to work with Castrol for all these year", stated Kennington.

Brad Baker is no stranger to Charlotte and Randy MacDonald. Baker wheeled the then #72 Vector Security MacDonald Motorsports entry to a 30th place finish in 2006, his only Nationwide Series start that season.

Kennington will return to the #81 Dodge at Nashville on June 7th.
